Dialectic Behavior Therapy Skills Training

Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach. The assumption is made that clients are doing the best that they can to cope, that they are using coping skills that worked for some difficult situations, but are no longer effective in their life.  

This is an approach that integrates the cognitive, the emotional, the behavioral and the spiritual. For a client to receive the maximum benefit from this approach, it is recommended that they receive both the DBT skills training and individual therapy from a DBT therapist. DBT skills training groups are available at MN Mental Health Clinics. More Detail


Anger Management Group

Group members are taught to recognize situations or events that trigger anger and to utilize more effective approaches to managing anger. Our Professionals employ a variety of anger management approaches that include assessment, self-monitoring, group therapy, psycho-education, role play and relaxation techniques. More Detail
