About:

Laura Katherine (LK) is open to working with children, teens, and adults in an individual setting. When working with a client she strives to create a space that is welcoming and safe where clients can feel free to be themselves. Throughout the therapeutic process, LK will use techniques from a variety of modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, as well as strengths-based approaches. Therapy can be confusing for younger clients; with this in mind LK uses play therapy, art therapy, and other creative outlets to help clients feel more comfortable with the therapeutic process.
