Groundbreakers Program Therapist, Outpatient Therapist
University of St. Thomas
Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups. My work as a therapist embraces relationship, connection, listening, walking along-side, and creative problem solving (when it is needed). I do not find judgement to be helpful in my work and for the most part, I believe we are all doing the best we can with what we have and what we know. I do not have any easy answers or quick “fixes,” but I can help you make sense of things, discover, explore, and create something new. I value your experience and wisdom.
My clinical practice has encompassed issues with:
- Life transitions/adjustments
- Mood disorders
- Stress management
- Personality disorders
- Parental guidance
- Childhood disorders
- Sexual health and identity
I have additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, crisis intervention, attachment, trauma, working with minority populations as well as those with severe and persistent mental illness, and treatment approaches for autism spectrum disorders. All religions, cultures, and sexual orientations are welcome.
