Individual & Group Programs for Autism
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex developmental condition that now includes the past diagnoses of:
- Asperger’s Syndrome
- Autistic Disorder
- Pervasive Developmental Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified
- Childhood Disintegrative Disorder
Children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder display challenges in the areas of communication, socialization, as well as restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior. ASD does not manifest in one commonly identifiably way as many variations and expressions of symptoms does exist. Children, adults, caregivers, and families who are providing care to a person diagnosed with ASD, or has ASD themselves, deserve consistent and compassionate supportive services. Minnesota Mental Health Clinics offers both Individual Therapy and Group Therapy programs for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Individual Therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
