Adult Group Therapy
Minnesota Mental Health Clinics offers several group therapy programs tailored to specific types of mental health goals.
Group members are taught to recognize situations or events that trigger anger and to utilize more effective approaches to managing anger. Our Professionals employ a variety of anger management approaches that include assessment, self-monitoring, group therapy, psycho-education, role play and relaxation techniques.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach. This is an approach that integrates the cognitive, the emotional, the behavioral and the spiritual.
This program is designed to provide treatment for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder between the ages of 18 – 25 who need more support than what weekly individual therapy or social skills can offer.
